Best forPeople who want space more than a bar
Santa Mónica is one of West Africa’s great beaches. You need a 4x4 or a tour. Praia de Chaves is closer to Sal Rei and easier. Sal Rei itself has a fort, a harbour and enough restaurants for a week.
Stay
Sal Rei if you want a town. All-inclusives sit on their own beaches — fine with a shuttle. Check generator and water on independent villas, not just the photos.
